Hi and welcome to my article. Have you read the Patch notes for the last Sc2 patch yet? In my opinion the changes are immense: Zerg are a lot stronger now and at the same time Terran got slightly nerfed.
What exactly changed and how does it affect the strategy in the StarCraft 2 Zerg vs Terran matches? Suddenly the Barracks have a prerequisite: The Terran players has to build a Depot before the Rax. It's a prerequisite. Over are the times of Barrack-first Reaper rushes.
When talking about Reapers there's even a second nerf: The Speed upgrade now requires the Factory in order to be researched. That's insane! That's why most Zerg players now expand in almost every ZvT match. Watch the matches of SlayersBoxer against FruitDealer that were played on the Blizzcon and see for yourself how immense the patch changes are.
And there are more changes to come! The range of the Roaches was increased and is now on the same level as the Hellion. Kiting your Roaches with Hellions is no longer possible - in my opinion the Hellions were just too strong against Zerg anyway. Hellions are still scary but a lot less dangerous than before.
Anyway, let's head on to the next change. Medivacs need slightly longer to accelerate to full speed. That might be only a small change but it made the Terran army less mobile and Terran drops less dangerous. If the Terran wants to use Medivacs he now has to focus more on their micro or he will lose a lot of them to your army when he tries to drop on you or build a large M/M/M army.
Of course the other Match-ups changed as well. Roach range is always relevant and the unit became much more viable.
On to the StarCraft 2 Zerg vs Protoss match-up.
Now, for example the Void Ray got a bit weaker than before. They deal less damage when they are fully charged. Using your Queens to stop Void Ray harass got even easier and you should be able to defend well against it.
Just build more Queens as usual. You need to know that the Void Ray damage for the lesser charges was increased so that Void Rays deal actually deal damage faster.
The only gameplay that hasn't changed much is the StarCraft 2 Zerg vs Zerg match-up.
